Each episode will span the globe, interweaving 5 layered stories of sacrifice, murder, and betrayal—all in the name of the stone. The series will highlight the characters behind the mining operations and the violent crimes, kidnappings, and robberies surrounding their families.

We’ll follow these precious stones from mine to market, as high-priced jewelers and celebrities request custom orders of coveted stones to be worn on Hollywood Red Carpets and European Galas. Some narratives will be driven from mine to market, while others will follow the expert gemstone mercenaries commissioned to “source the stone.” This fast-paced, nail-biting adventure dives into an industry in the midst of a massive shift from controversy to transparency.
