Mick Kelleher
DIRECTOR
Mick is inspired by the power of articulate creative and short-form storytelling with his work. He’s obsessed with detail, tone, and feeling in choreographing the right visuals to a good script. The goal - with the right creative and message - is a final piece that stands apart and leaves a lasting impression on the viewer.
Every project is an opportunity to collaborate with passionate, like-minded people to help bring a story to life and often times make new, life-long friends along the way.
Over the past 15 years, Mick has worked on the client, agency, and production side of the business and subsequently has a deep understanding and unique POV on everything required for each stakeholder from the development phase all the way through to the execution and delivery of a project.
Working in house at Disney, ESPN, and Live Nation at the beginning of his career, he then transitioned into the agency word, launching tooth & melody. (a commercial and branded content agency) with his brother, Will Kelleher. Recently, they partnered with actor Josh Duhamel and business partner Josh Algra to start a celebrity-driven creative and production agency, Dakota Creative Partners.
Mick lives in Venice, CA and enjoys spending time back home in Austin, TX when he’s not working or chasing surf in California, New York, and Hawaii.
Enter surfing and Noa Deane for "In Bloom." This extravagant gesture of color is meant to highlight the juxtaposition of two unlikely things, flowers and surfing. Created and executed for Volcom and landing on the cover of STAB Magazine for the quarterly issue's feature story. Additional content was distributed across digital and social platforms.
